HOPE's Sham Rock N Run 5K

Thank you to all who participated and volunteered for the Hope Help's 8th Annual Sham Rock N Run which took place right here at St. Luke's Lutheran Church!  Over 450 people participated in the race and helped to fight homelessness in Seminole County and all of Central Florida. HOPE’s mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida by equipping individuals and families to become self-sufficient through Housing, Outreach, Prevention and Education.
HOPE addresses the issues facing individuals and families in crisis by networking with local agencies and organizations, partnering to become more effective, studying best and emerging practices, and developing innovative problem-solving ideas in a comprehensive, coordinated, and strategic fashion. They effectively make use of services that exist and identify trends in what is needed to enable individuals and families to become self sufficient. They educate and transform the way people view and treat those in need, by providing awareness, and the opportunity to create change. HOPE is engaging communities to develop and plan long term solutions that address the problems facing those in crisis. Together we will make a difference in the lives of those in our community. HOPE envision a world where people know that there is HOPE.
All proceeds from the Sham Rock N Run benefit HOPE Helps, Inc., whose mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida. Learn more about HOPE at www.hopehelps.org

Welcome to St. Luke's!

St. Luke's is a thriving community of believers in Jesus Christ proclaiming His name in everything that we do. By God's grace alone, St. Luke's exists to awaken and nurture thriving relationships with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We are deeply rooted in worship of, and life-long learning about, the one and only true God Who reveals Himself in the Bible as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Knowing Him more and more we respond by serving the community around us. Visit our website for more .
